Our Story

Come alongside with us and let us take you into our humble journey through God’s Help.

Matthew 25:40

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

June 8, 2019 – In the top middle photograph is a board meeting with the members and volunteers’ staff at Hope Harvest Uganda.

This photograph was taken after one of our board meetings about the school and the orphanage that God has placed on our hearts for the children God brings us.

Young Boy in Uganda Milking Cow

December 3, 2021 – Hi, my name is Marvin and I’m only 12 years of age. I come out daily to milk the cow for milk for us, one of the sources of food, it is good and fresh, we enjoy this and is such a delight for us all.

I have a dream to one day become a veterinarian to help the animals.

Thank you for reading my story.

A call for clean water

September 20, 2021 – the children are vulnerable to waterborne diseases; dysentery, trachoma and others caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation issues. We have submitted a request for clean water and due to donations we received we have been able to hand dig over 10 wells each at at cost of $2800.00. The project benefited over 20 thousand people across 10 villages. Please see the photograph to the left and Praise God for this.

Our first Transportation

June 12, 2019 – We want to thank God for this new motorbike donated to us by our recently gone mission visitor, Mr. Uwe Beltz.

He has been a blessing to HHU in many ways through his visit. We want to say God bless you Uwe Beltz and your wife Kathy Beltz for making this happen.

Monthly Follow-Up for the children

Monthly follow-ups are visits done by volunteer social workers monthly to all the children’s homes. The intention of such activities are visits to create a relationship between the guardians, children, and the organization. Psycho-social support activities such as counseling, guidance, and prayer.

The volunteers are trained, professional social workers. During the follow-ups, these volunteers engage the children on several issues, which determine how they sleep, the number of meals they have each day, and what effects they have while at the home.

The volunteers, after the follow-up activity, are required to compile a report about the activity taken, and then provide resources to help the children, and while furthering their success and well-being of the children here.

Help with the Vision of Our School

As Hope Harvest Uganda, we are looking forward to building a program school directly benefiting the children.  The school will benefit both the children here at HHU and the community.  We are anticipating support for 200 vulnerable and orphaned children through this school if God permits.

We are looking forward for a school, which is fully supported in terms of paying staff and educating the children. We are hoping to have a school, which is fully supported for the children’s meals, medical, and welfare.

We need a school with enough classroom blocks to accommodate learners, and also the hostels for the program children because they will all be sleeping at school.  Only the community children who are not on the program  will be coming from their homes every day.

As far as land is concerned, we are wanting a minimum of 2 acres for the school project. This land will allow all the developments and progress required.
